Come home to your body.

A grounding, martial-arts inspired practice blending mindfulness, somatic movement, and adaptive boxing in Santa Barbara.

For women and girls who want to feel steady, strong, and connected to their bodies—with an emphasis on fun!

What happens in class

We begin by arriving. Listening to the sounds around us, feeling the ground, and marking the start with the sound of a singing bowl.

From there, we move through gentle mobility, boxing stance, jab and cross fundamentals, playful shadowboxing, and a slow cooldown.

We end the way we began… silence, sound, and a moment to notice what has changed.

Who it’s for

The Wild Refuge is for women who want movement that feels supportive, empowering, and adaptive.

No boxing experience is needed. You can move at your own pace, choose your level of intensity, and pause anytime.

This practice is for building strength, grounding, confidence, and body awareness, without pressure to perform.
